All I know is that you love me…in my dreams. ~ Unknown
Donny Osmond, hands down, nuff said.
::giggle::
I remember when Puppy Love came out in 1972, I would dream Donny was singing just to me and had written it just for me.
The Osmond’s started in show business around the time I was born. During the 60s, I saw many family performances on the Andy Williams show.
But it wasn’t until 1972 and Puppy Love that I noticed Donny. He was incredibly cute, and OMG, what a voice!!!
That is when I couldn’t get enough of him. All we had in those days was TV and magazines, most notably Tiger Beat. I owned every single copy that had Donny on the cover
As if that wasn’t enough, enter the Donny and Marie Show. Every week, I was glued to the TV for its entire run.
I am not ashamed to say, I was giddy as a school girl when MTV released his Soldier of Love video. I watched that and said, he’s still got it. And then Sacred Emotion? It gave me chills.
To this day, I will watch any interview he is in, watch him sing anywhere I can. He and his sister do a show in Vegas I would love to see.
Yeah, Donny Osmond was not only my first celebrity crush, he is STILL a crush all these years later.
Tomorrow’s blog challenge … most proud moment.
Peace Out, Biz
