Most Proud Moment

Make the most of yourself, for that is all there is of you. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

::giggle::

I am 54 years old and there have been times I have said to myself, you go girl; that’s the way to do it.

However, I must choose only one.  No one said how long the moment had to be. Ha!

Truth be known, I felt most proud when I held my baby girl in my arms for the very first time.  That precise moment, when I realized her Dad and I created this beautiful new human being, I couldn’t have been a prouder Momma.

That was truly a life changing moment. The rest of my life I was attached to this little energy bucket.  I knew even if she was grown and had kids of her own, I would never stop thinking about her welfare.

Watching her grow into a fine young woman with personality traits that include compassion, creativity, empathy, freethinking, silliness, good-nature and insight (just to name a few) and knowing that somehow, someway, I helped her get there has made me so proud to be her Mom.

She still has more growing up to do, so I can revel in this proud moment even longer.

Tomorrow … If I Won the Lottery … oh my.

Peace Out, Biz
